cheap junk – poor “tech support”

This printer is a cheap hunk of junk. Arrived DOA. The so-called “technical support” (wasn’t all that technical, and would rather interrupt me that help me) was useless in settling the issues. The “latest” drivers are over two years old, and still broken.

If you may get it to work, it might be OK, but my experience is that you’ll get frustrated with the unit and the abysmal “technical support” first, and return it.

Excellent Label Printer

I purchased the Wasp WPL305 5 years ago and have not been disappointed. It has printed out thousands of labels a year without a single problem. Setup is a breeze. Sharing it on the LAN makes it without apparent effort accessible to everyone in the office and once you set it up you may forget it – zero maintenance, no calls for support, it just flat out works. When I did have to call Wasp for aid on getting the proper ribbons they were very helpful. The most nontechnical user in the office may swap out the ribbons. This is effortlessly one of my best hardware purchases ever.
