The Ergonomic Computer Mouse- a Look at the Best and the Worst

Too a heap of designs to count and too a heap of functions to mention, the computer mouse has come a long way from it is one-button job. We take a look back as well as a look forward to the <a rel=”nofollow” onclick=”javascript:_gaq.push(['_trackPageview', '/outgoing/article_exit_link/623222']);” href=http://www.cirque.com/uploads/products/ergonomic_mouse.html>ergonomic computer mouse</a>, styles that have changed the way we “click” over years.

The Foot Pedal Computer Mouse
I may see where the foot pedal computer mouse would come in handy for a person with disabilities, say, unable to use their arms, but for the intermediate person, this may be more challenging. This is unquestionably an option for eliminating all hand pain, since it’s only one’s feet that are making the clicks happen. The foot pedal mouse product info states:

•    The three pedal scheme allows you to use one pedal for the shift key, one for the ctrl key and one for the alt.  However, they may be programmed to be any key on the keyboard, or emulate a mouse click.  For a lot of users, the pain affiliated with mousing is caused by the action of clicking, not from moving the mouse.

The Finger Mouse (Instead of cramping the whole hand, just cramp one finger)
There are assorted dissimilar styles of the finger mouse. From finger computer mice that look like computer mouse pens, to little finger computer mouse rings and touch pads that only require your fingertips. The finger mouse has been around for awhile and comes in an potpourri of styles. Using just fingertips on a trackpad, rather than one’s whole hand and wrist moving around, may primarily reduce stress on the wrist.

Handshoe Mouse
The Handshoe Mouse was developed by two medical universities in Holland, with stress elimination in mind. Instead of wrapping one’s hand to cling to the computer mouse, a person places their whole hand on the mouse, like a hand in a glove, this computer mouse design releases tension that is caused by the grip posture and moves the hand and wrist in comfortable positions.

Switch Mouse
This computer mouse is 30 percent more spectacular than a regular computer mouse and built to support not just the hand but the whole wrist and inspires the user to move around the mouse using an arm motion, not just a hand.

A Look Into The Future of The Ergonomic Computer Mouse
The future of the computer mouse may be a little bleak- as persons move into touch screen monitors. But until that happens, there are a lot of wireless computer mice, joystick computer mice, rolling ball mice and extra big or extra little models. One latest computer mouse model is the Microsoft Explorer Mini that’s wireless, with a blue track sensor, a USB transceiver that has the capability to move all over a screen 30 feet away. Ergonomic features include neutral orientation for right and left handed users, solid shape and ease on wrists.

Who knows what to suppose for the future though- desks without mice at all, giving way to rigorously touch screen technology, voice activated computer mice or spongy-clay like models that form to your hand specifically.

Use your current computer mouse and look online at galore of the introductory computer mice ever invented. As far as they have come in function and design, you will be rather amazed to see just how similar the basi ones are to the imagination pants ones today.

Scare gadgets are not habitually my thing, though as a hardcore PC gamer, writer and normal engineering science aficionado – spending my full day on the computer, let me tell something regarding the strain and injury which is real and exists in the workplace. I,  along with others I know who are suffering with Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI), have some clear or deep perception on how this may be a stress in my day-to-day life and would like to review an ergonomic peripheral that has made life a little easier, an ergonomic mouse. Not just any ergonomic mouse – I am talking when it comes to my new sidekick – the Evoluent Wireless Ergonomic Mouse.

Crippled gamers rejoice! This Ergonomic mouse is easy to use, comfortable at the workplace, slim, has a lot of sexy curves, without apparent effort adjustable, and highly programmable. The good things in this ergonomic mouse are that it is comfortable, has magnificent drivers, OS X compatible, Adjustable DPI, Application profiling, intimate design. Although I wish it had more buttons, I may without apparent effort pardon that, as I never realized how bad my last mouse was for my health. I have not had any substantial wrist aches in over 2 weeks, since I started using this bad boy!

The grip of this Evoluent Right handed mouse is extraordinarily high equated with other ergonomic mice and traditionalisti horizontal mice, so this mouse need good seating posture. According to the ergonomists at ergonomicsalifestyle.com, “It is utterly critical that elbows are very near to each other at 90° angle.” When I am using the outdated old style, conventional mouse – I have to move my hand so far and high that my wrist, arm, hand and my shoulder get started to ache. After using this ergonomic mouse, however, I am not getting any problems.

I am now converted into an ergonomics enthusiast! Using this Evoluent Right handed mouse is my dream, my arm is always at rest. You will have to make sure your chair is at proper height and your keyboard tray likewise at right position.

This Evoluent Right handed mouse is better than all other ergonomic mice. Because this mouse holds the features that Eliminate the Arm Twisting, holds the intimate grip, easy to operate buttons, fits all hands, and prevents desk rubbing. It will respond very quickly and it holds the programmable buttons that means it may without apparent effort work in XP Pro, XP Home, Vista 32 and also have a great deal of special functions. I love it – now I have to get a better chair to match!

4Great conception with a few flaws
By Vichhi Kumar Vijay
I recognise my review is long but bear with me as it is will in all probability make it clear for you on whether or not this product is for you. I’ve been using this mouse for a little over a month now, i did not want to write a review before others as i wanted to make sure the issues i was having weren’t related to a defective product.

4Mostly Nice…
By Drooval
The motion and scrolling work very well. It without any delay connects when turned on. Feels nice to hold, though it takes getting used to the empty space underneath.
